The No Hitter - Corona!

Shook hands with a grad bosom buddy Tested positive and ended up in chronic privacy! Walls were staring at me And I was staring back. Brooding over the past to atone on those mocks, That I knocked on my mom's orthodoxy praxis For today, sensible and relatable all it seems ! I thought a little about family and folk, While I had a gang of friends to chat and hangout with. Now, none called up and my mind rang out. All who rang up to enquire were, that ignored folks Telling remedies, cautions and a few jokes! Watching them on zoom, WhatsApp and Skype, It was more of a real tonic than the medic's syrup! I judged them on their deeds in some occasions And few cut contact with me due to foriegn fads Meeting once a year was seen as more than munificent. Now, all feel that online communications are not sufficient. As I heard her keep my food thali on the doorstep, My musings took a sudden halt and tears crawled up. I badly wanted to hug her sorry, Better I don't infect her and worry! As I supped up my brekkie of soupy legumes, Felt queried within nonstop the mind consumes! Who do you think Corona is? A killer disease or curse? Which is stealing from us those who are close! An arrow from lord Yama's weaponry ? Which came only to put us all in an awkward quandary! Not at all. Not at all! It is rather a renaissance! Life is immeasurably dimensional as None can know the world's concrete view for all we get to meet in a lifetime are few! Corona juggled up all things that we knew Brought in the prolonged curfew. And, Proved a no hit game nudging oneself to review!
